Unlike the marshmellow with the vanilla custard, the marshmellow gave some added depth of flavor to the chocolate custard. The pecans were a good change from almonds. Culver's Rocky Road concrete mixer is really rocky. They use whole pecan halves. I don't mind having to chew my ice cream, but this seemed a little excessive. The funny thing is I don't think it would have tasted as good without all the pecans. Overall, It was quite good.
